I went to Tropical Smoothie Cafe for lunch and I brought my Bible. I didn’t feel like witnessing much and felt kind of awkward there but as I was in there and walked up to the counter, I started caring about their souls. I began to pray: Lord, give me an open door.
No door came so I almost said “Hey guys do you know Jesus?” But I realized that sounds a bit trite.
And kept praying for an open door.
When the lady, who I had converse with earlier about her day and the pain she was feeling in her ankle, came to give me my smoothie, I realized no “door” was going to come and I said to her “Can I ask you a question?” She said “yes.” And I said “Do you know Jesus?”
We talked for several minutes. She said yes she knew Jesus but hoped to go to Heaven. She kept saying her dad is a pastor. I explained that I know I am going to Heaven not because I am so good but because of Jesus.
